        <![CDATA[<p>First the website, now the blog page..... </p>
<p>We've finally climbed off the bike and out of the pool to find time to sort out the medium for documenting the trials and tribulations of moving from the sofa to a 4 day ironman with bonus hockey matches, in little more than three months.</p>
<p>I had my first consecutive outings last weekend on the bike, and actually found that I wasn't pedalling on Day 2 to propel myself forward, but more to lift my backside from an unbelievably narrow saddle.</p>
<p>I also took on Florida's ocean, only to find that further out than the breakline I was&nbsp;Jacksonville's&nbsp;top candidate for drowning, but nearer the shore than where the waves were crashing down wasn't exactly productive either (the human wsashing machine). </p>
<p>Back to the pool methinks....</p>]]>
